We had a really slow start this morning, enjoyed the peace and quiet of our double room! We had a late breakfast and we could not really decide where to go with our $2.50 pass for the day. I suggested the Zoo or the Olympic Park, but D. is not interested. We could go to Bondi Beach, but do we really want to go back to the beach on a Sunday? no!
So in the end, we went to the park down the road (the one on the harbour side), and decided to plan the next month: Brisbane with a relocation car for 4 days? Then rent our own van all the way to Cairns? Important stops: Whitsundays/Frazer Island/Koala sanctuary/diving the Great Barrier Reef (GBR)!!! Plane -> Sydney and the bus? -> Melbourne (or relocation?)
Around 6.15, we took the bus into town, then the train to go on the other side of the bay in North Sydney to Milson Point. We had a look at the Luna Park (fun fair park), while the sun was going down (pretty colours over South Sydney).
Luna Park was a bit s**t compare to the one I grew up with in Palavas (South of France, next to Montpellier). I dunno if it is because I only have child memories so not objective ones or because we really had a good one!
We decided that we would cross on foot Harbour Bridge, but before we got a really large packet of chips (for strenghs!!). We walked the whole bridge by sunset/night. It was pretty sweet! We saw the Opera House all lit up and Circular Quay by night, everything looked so good!
Finally we took the bus home and went straight away to bed!
PS: My Australian bank card arrived today but not the code yet (anyway I have no money on it yet!)
